The great price point also attracted  thousands of anglers to the Magnesium rods. The new trendy neon green accented Magnesium2 is priced right and perferct for your quest for the elusive bass. American made quality at affordable pricing.

Next Gen SM “Superior Modulus” Graphite blanks made by Gary Loomis’s Team at North Fork Composites in Washington state. Made with Kistler’s typical “raw carbon” look….leaving off the paint and other coatings that negatively effect the performance. Super light and surprisingly sensitive performance is what you will find while fishing with any one of these awesome Magnesium 2 rods.

Time tested Fuji reel seats for longterm durability and rock solid grip on reel feet. The latest in handle designs offering a super tacky grip in all weather conditions, introducing the Neon green Winn Grip handles with oversized eva butt end for extra leverage on the cast and hook set.

- Kigan Zero tangle stainless steel guides with MACRO sized Coalite rings

Another great feature is the tip top design that eliminates line wrap due to the invisible welded frame. Kigan Hook Lock keeper.

The trending neon green color thread wrapping makes the Magnesium2 rod appear to be a custom work of art. Something to be very proud to own and count on when the money is on the line. Tournament anglers on a budget will find the Magnesium2 series to be their most reliable, most affordable and most loved rod on their boat.

  1. Puppy Love Review by Chris

A Zara Puppy is killer down here, but I've never had a casting rod that could launch light baits easily and had the backbone to handle bigger fish until now. Well done, Kistler! (Posted on 9/14/17)

  2. 2 thumbs up Review by Richard

Got this rod to take on a guided saltwater trip 7-1-17. Any body that fishes saltwater knows that everything pulls harder and are twice as slimy. The Winn grip performed like no other, these grips are amazing. The rod handled the hard charging fish with no problems. The weight of the rod didn't have me worn out at the end of the day either. All in all the rod is as good as they get. You won't find another rod in its class that will perform at its level. (Posted on 7/3/17)

  3. 2017 Magnesium2 Medium-Light Fast 7'0" Review by Chris

Paired this with a Shimano Aldebaran 50HG, sweet setup! Love the sensitivity and Made in the USA! (Posted on 5/29/17)

  4. Replace Those Spinning Rods Review by Richie Rich

I don't mind using spinning rods when I'm finesse fishing, but I dislike using them for power fishing. Until I discovered this rod, I had to throw my small balsa crank baits, 1/8 oz Rattletraps, and 1/8 oz swim baits on spinning equipment. With this 7" Med-Light action, my lighter lures load up nicely for longer cast, and allow me to power fish/cover water with a casting rod without having to trow a heavier bait. (Posted on 5/9/17)

  5. Featherweight Champ Review by DanTheFireman

There was a snafu in my order for the LMH 7'0" and I received this rod instead. I had never considered going this light with a casting rod, relying mostly on light spinning tackle for tossing those dinky lures like Tiny Torpedoes and little Sammys but upon Reuben and Trey's recommendation I gave this one a try while waiting for the LMH Mag 2. My Medium Light spinning rod with the little Smoke reel works fine for light lures but I do get a fair share of wind knots even though the spool is not over full and the bail is closed by hand, Fuji tangle free guides on a correct rod.
Well, I put a Metanium with 30# braid on this feather with the smallest Sammy and hit the back yard pond. The rod loads so perfectly, it has plenty of action but is not a limp noodle by any means with enough backbone to pull free from some pretty tough weed. With half brake I can cast super far, even into some wind and no tangles. Can't wait to put on some lighter line. Fighting a few Mayan cichlids and a decent little bass was a blast, I've been missing a lot of fish with the broomsticks and small treble lures.
Thanks guys, I'm a finessin' fool now. (Posted on 8/26/16)
