Replaced my 6'9" MH Finesse 1st Gen Magnesium and I am amazed. Just ordered my 7th 2017 today. Now have 2-LMH, 3-Med, 1-LMH Finesse, and 1 Med Spin. Coming from Fenwich HMG and Abu Vertias, I am blown away. Don't fool around - get these rods!!! (Posted on 5/18/17)

I was sceptical about this rod I wasn't sure what a LMH was exactly, well it's exactly what it says it is it's a light medium heavy and it's just right for those times when a meadium heavy is to heavy and a medium is to light, incredible sensitivity and power. The winn grips are awesome. (Posted on 5/12/17)

  7. Great Multispecies Rod Review by Victor

i wanted a rod that i could use to fish all types of species. This looked like an adequate fit. Went out pike fishing this past weekend and it turned out to be a great jerk bait rod. That light tip and that strong backbone allowed me to get some real action on the bait but able to set the hook and fight it with ease. I will definitely be purchasing another few in the next year. Keep pumping out such a great product. (Posted on 5/9/17)

  8. Great Rippin Rod Review by Thomas

    Quality

Spring and Fall on the Great Lakes brings on a unique opportunity to cast Sonar type blade baits and Rapala Rippin Raps for big Walleye and Smallmouth Bass. The LMH70 spin rod has the perfect combination of a fast sensitive tip section and good lower end power for hooksets way out there. I match it up with a Lews T Gold 2000 and 10# braid for a deadly combo. (Posted on 11/30/16)

  11. Nice Tube Rod MgSHTBMH610S Review by Compa

The good ol Mag. I bought this rod as a backup rod for my spinning applications. However, I now find it on the deck of my boat almost always. I been using it to fish senkos and shakey heads. I also got to use it for bed fish this past spring. I liked the way it fished a small tube. This rod really competes with the Helium in terms of sensitivity. I hope these rods stick around because they are very affordable. The color is cool too. I think if you are looking for a good tube rod this is the one for you. Best thing about this rod is that it’s currently on sale at Tacklewarehouse.com. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Kistler_Magnesium_TS_Spinning_Rods/descpage-KMS.htm (Posted on 10/30/15)

My first reaction when I picked up this rod was wow this thing is light. Took it to the lake and was more impressed on how it casted a 1/2oz tube with distance and accuracy. Sensitivity was excellent. I have not had the chance to use it for shakey heads yet but I think it will do the job. Overall very happy with my purchase. (Posted on 10/28/15)

  15. Money Maker Review by Mark

I spend most of my tournament time on the back deck behind some of the best Pros in the nation fishing the FLW Tour and Rayovacs. I depend heavily on my spinning rods to get me the bites I need to finish out a limit behind these hammers. It is my preferred rod for drop shot and shaky heads. It has the finesse to handle finicky spotted bass and the power to land Lake Fork giants like the 8 and 9 pound large mouth I landed this past weekend on a drop shot. (Posted on 10/27/15)

  16. Fantastic rod! Review by Jeff

I spend the majority of my fishing time on the flats stalking redfish, trout, and flounder from Panama City to Louisiana. This is hands down my go-to rod for any situation. Whether I'm flipping baits to shallow redfish, making long casts, pitching docks, or turning heads on big Louisiana reds, this Magnesium rod is in my hand! The rod has held up in saltwater elements better than any other rod I've ever used. There is no rusting on the guides or hook keepers. I would strongly recommend this rod to anyone in the freshwater or saltwater scene. Outstanding price and an ever better product! (Posted on 10/27/15)

I love my Mag 6' 10" medium heavy shaky head / tube jig spinning rod. This rod is great for shaky heads and tube jigs, but I also use it for alot more than that. I think it is a great multi purpose spinning rod. I love catching BIG smallmouth bass dropshotting with this rod. I use it for giant largemouth bass with some topwater baits too. The rod has great back bone and a very sensitive tip. The rod is very light-weight and durable. I am very confident when I am fishing a tournament with this rod! (Posted on 10/23/15)

I first bought this rod to shakey head fish but it can do so much more. I have found out that I can skip really well with this rod, being I am 6'2" this rod is a great length for me. I can skip a 1/8oz shakey head from the front of a dock all the way back into the darkest spots and not worry about backlashes like you do with a bait caster. I will be buying more of these rods for fishing dock lakes for sure! (Posted on 10/23/15)

As the name suggests, I mostly use this rod for tubes and shakyheads. What a beast! You can feel every tiny vibration from bumping a rock or a bass slurping down the tube jig. If you miss a bite on this, you might want to take a second look at yourself! While being very sensitive, it also has the backbone necessary to fight large bass. (Posted on 3/16/15)

  28. For the Price - As Tough as it Gets Review by taylor@cvofishing

I just returned from the Eastern Shore of Virginia (Cape Charles) where a change of plans had me drifting live eels for GIANT Sriped Bass. In an effort to get as many lines in the water as possible I rigged four Magnesium spinning rods - medium heavy 7' & 7'3". We landed 9 fish in 2 days over 36" and two of them were over 46"! Coincidentally all of the bites came on the Magnesium rods. It was a true torture test as well as a testament to the construction when you can take shakey head and jerkbait rods and land fish of that caliber. These rods are super tough! (Posted on 1/15/15)
