The stout power and action of this rod provides the angler with enough strength to do the job with a jig, a texas rig worm. This length in the fast action helps cut down reaction time to set the hook quick. Remember not everybody is ideally suited to the longer rods as far height and reaction time and 7 foot is not appropriate for everybodyÃs physical capabilities.
