Description: This report is for Wednesday June 19th on the TN River-Wilson Lake, Alabama. I fished with a father and son team from Montana for a morning trip and we had a blast. Thirteen year old Tyler who fishes often for trout, but had never been to lakes that held bass put on a clinic with a solid mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth with his biggest one being between 5 and 6lbs. We caught them in 8 to 12 feet of water early and I fished out deep in the afternoon. Baits used for the day were crankbaits, jigs, and swimbaits. Wilson Lake in North Alabama is well worth checking out, while giving you the chance to catch a giant smallmouth, or largemouth bass on any given cast.
