Please give me any info on this new rod. Is it like fishing w/a broom handle minus the weight? Looking to use this rod for jig fishing. I do not like fishing w/rods over 7' so this rod sparked my intrest. Will there be any feel w/this rod?

The Jig and Toad Heavy Special 7' is not a broom stick without the weight by any means.
This rod has some action on the tip and will flex with the weight of a jig.
So YES is the answer to your question: "Does this rod have feel?"
Try one out and see for your self. Remember, we guarantee your satisfaction of your money back.
Thanks,

I have two of these rods both on a shimano curado, and I love them. I have had no problem with feel.

I own this rod and would recommend it for swimming frogs, swimming jigs, pitching and light flipping. I have a Calcutta 50 TEGT mounted on it and it is incredibly light. I have used it with horny toads, Florida rig worm fishing in heavy cover and it preformed better than my GLoomis 7' H. I also have the old LTA helium 6'6" H and use it for soft jerk bates. Also the best rod I own for that situation. Has any one used the spinner bait or crank bait rods? If I like those I could possible be selling all my Loomis rods.
