So... since iCast is going on right now, any news from HQ as to what has been unveiled by our favorite rod company for 2005?

Hey guys,

I took a trip to the ICAST show this week and made my rounds through the entire show. I saw many new and different baits coming to us for next year. There were plenty of new cool gadgets to play with along with the usual products we are all familiar with on display.

I have to say that there was not much excitement in the rod department. Airrus rods did come up with a unique spinning/fly rod handle design that will surely earn them an award for best of show. Shimano showed off their new line of rods which sports a feel blank through cork fore grip on their spinning rods. Great idea! Other than that, I didn't see anything that special as far as blank design or component changes.

It looks like our new 2005 rod creations will be a good compliment to everything else coming out next year. We will let you in on all the secrets as soon we can.
