I finally got my new rods on the water Saturday. ALthough me and the rods were a little soggy, and the fish were not very cooperative, I am very pleased with the new sticks!
The KCBMC66 is one bad daddy of a topwater plug rod, very light, nimble cast like a sniper and very soft (huge parabolic action). It also cast smaller crankbaits very well. You can feel everything the bait is doing on the rod, bump a stump you feel it, dig the botom you feel it. Two of the fish I caught, the only way I knew they were on was I could no longer feel my crankbait vibrating, the retrieve just went to nothing. I set the hook and everything heated up immediately!
The KCBMC70 is without a doubt the best crankbait stick I have ever thrown. It reacts and feels like the old "glass" cranking rod at about 1/2 the weight. There were several occasions where I had to drive the boat up into the tree line to get my lure (three to be exact) .. The Kistlers made that much difference in my casting distance!!

I have to agree the KCBMC70 is the absolute sweetest crankin rod that we will ever use! The more that you use it the more that you will like it.
