Helium Review

Gary Yamamoto's "Inside Line"'s July/August isue has a review on the Kistler Helium rods and others. The Kister tested was the H269APC to be exact. Paul Crawford, their Spoutheast Staff writer did the review on the Kistler and five other brands. As far as I could tell, he didn't annouce a "winner" but the Helium though second on the chart displayed, was first in the description area..............

Last para in the description:

"The Kistler isn't the perfect all-purpose compromise rod, but is it the "best?" If I wanted a rod for fishing soft plastics and was going to bet my next morgage payment on the rod's ability to transmit subtle bites and put fish in the boat, I wouldn't hesitate a second to pick the Kistler. It had wonderful manners in all performance categories, you can fish it for a week without tiring, and at the agressive price point for this market you can't go wrong with this rod."
