Can you make the older handle?

Can or will you make LTA's with the old style grip? I can not get use to the split grip at all. I spend more time with my older LTA's than my new ones.

Absolutley, we can retrofit you current 09 if you would like us to. Later this year, we are going to off ALL our Helium rods to the public "make to order" without the upcharge custom fees. Sweet huh? You'll get to design your rod "The way you like it" and have it shipped in only two weeks. Thanks.

Now that's a grand idea. I am (now I guess it should be "was") one of the disapointed Kistler user's when the LTA handle was changed to the split grip in '09. I like the full cork handle, and was sorry to see the LTA for '09 join the other three Kistler lines that come with a split grip. I have a dozen of the LTA's all prior to the new design, and have been buying a few backup rods (pre- '09) from the secondary market, because I would not buy an '09 as they were originally designed. I didn't like the idea of paying extra to get an '09 with a full handle either. I think it once again shows that Kislter Rods listens to it's customers and is working to satisify all of us.
