H2 vs LTA

I have a question concerning these two models and where better to ask.

comparing a 09 model(H2 and LTA) 6'9" MH casting rod.

Can a weekend angler tell the difference between the two if he/she did not know which they were fishing with?

For the money difference is it that big a seperation of quality?

Absolutely, there is a difference between the two but the quality is top notch with both.

LTX over LTA: stronger, lighter, more sensitive guides. better handle. Top of the line all the way!

Can you tell the difference? You'll be the final judge of that if you ever own both in my opinion.
