looking to buy a walleye rod looking at HE70MS or HE70MLS .what do you think on the right path

Welcome to Kistlers Rick.

I've never fished for walleyes nor used a Spinning Helium but my HE70MC rods are my favorite and would work just fine for any freshwater fish IMO. I have a HE70MLC and I would think it might be a little too light for you but I did land a 5 lb Bass with mine last week but the Mediums action is just right Very Happy .
