I fished a tournament at Lake Guntersville (AL) this weekend. My partner and I placed 3rd. Those Guntersville bass are the strongest Largemouth bass alive. I am always glad to have the Kistler Helium rods when fishing because of their outstanding sensitivity, comfort, strength and LTA qualities. I caught a 10 lb 2 oz on one of my 6' 3" Heliums and it played her down like no other. I have owned at least 30 Kistler rods and will tell you...there is no substitution for quality. Thanks Triton20

I currently have 14 Heliums. Before that, I had 9 Mark Tylers and before that I had 7 California Series. These three series of rods have contributed greatly to my success over the past three years. Without a doubt, they made me a better fisherman. I fished over 35 tournaments last year ( by the way....I am not a pro by no means) which allowed me the opportunity to let my ( - - blocked - - ) use some of my rods and as far as I know all of them have purchased one or more Kistler rods since trying them for themselves.

Yes, both---in spades! And strength!

As Lightninrod mentioned...the weight and sensitivity are superb. You can fish a 10 hour tournament and still be alert on the last bite of the day. They are in a class all by themselves. Anyone serious about fishing needs to give them a try. You will never regret it.

Thanks,

I agree with you guys. The Heliums are great. The weight or lack of is unbelievable. You can fish all day and feel like the only thing you've been holding is the reel. The sensitivity is also outstanding. You'll feel the lightest of bites and be able to more effectively read the type of bottom you are fishing. I currently own 10 Heliums and they are the best rods I've ever owned.

I have also used Kistler Rods for the past three years starting with the California Series. I have love them all but the Helium Series is without a doubt the best line of rods on the market today. It is hard to believe that something that light can be that strong!!!
