I think that was a one-time situation with Cabelas. I would order a Kistler Helium rod from them with no reservations. I've gotten a couple from them with no issues or problems.
I don't know if you will be able to throw that light of a bait with that rod. I hope Trey or Clifford will be able to post a more definative answer for you. Give them a little time to see your post.

If you are worried about getting a defective rod from Cabela's, why not order direct from the Kistler factory? I'm sure you will not have any problems and you will recieve a top quality rod. I think the problem with the Cabela's purchased rod was only an isolated case. I have not seen anything like it and I've purchased many of these rods without incident. Good Luck, I'm sure you will not have any problems. What type of fish can you catch in Poland? Pike?

Robert,
Thank you for inquiring about the possibilities of getting a Kistler Helium rod shipped to Poland. I would suggest that you deal with either Cabelas or us direct. You should be very pleased with a rod shipped from both parties.
The He69APC will cast a 1/8 oz lure fairly well with an upper end reel. This model is very fast and takes a little getting used to when casting the lightest of baits. Another option would be the Medium powered models. I know for sure you will make very accurate cast with minimal effort while using either the He66MC or the He70MC.
We can ship to Poland if need be. It might be a smoother transaction if you order through Cabelas. Give them a try first and let us know if you have any questions.

Kuzyn,
I've used my He69APC to cast 1/8 oz Luhr Jenson Speed Traps with a variety of fishing reels (all mid to high end) with really no problems. The He69APC loads very easily and really does cast very well. I think you'll be pleased with that selection.
Both Kistler and Cabela's have very good customer service, but given your unique situation, I'd highly recommend buying direct from Kistler to ensure to notch quality control.

I have 2 He70MC's and they will cast 1/8oz crankbait just fine. They have nice balance to them. I think the fish you will encounter over there in Poland are brutes. Giant carp and pike will be loads of fun on that rod.
