10/16/04--2 Bass--pics

[Lightninrod]

Windy(10-12 mph?), 'blue bird' sky, 70's, and opening day for Deer hunters. One had hung an 8-pointer up and was dressing it out as I ( - - blocked - - ) into the woods. That's one reason I wait until mid or late morning before arriving at the swamp pond. The other is....................I'm lazy .

Tried 2 cr/baits, spinnerbait, Sammy, T-rigged worm, and 3 different jigs. Caught a dink on a small, white cr/bait. Then I pitched a Bass Stalker, 5/8 oz, black/pink jig dressed with a Sweet Beaver(Coonnasty color) and GY's Megastrike. After a bunch of pitches, I finally hooked a 5.5 lber. She picked it up off the bottom in about 9' of water, right next to a stump. Later, same jig combo but black/blue in color caught me a 1.5 lber.

The two jig Bass were caught using my autographed, newest Helium, a HE76HC. Lot's of fun!
