I recently purchased (2) MgTBWWMH610S Rods for shakey head/tube/wacky worm fishing and saw the blank color (brighter green), the guides (black instead of stainless) and the handle (smooth versus tacified) were different than my other Mag series of rods. I own the Mag 6'9 Drop Shot , the Mag 7 ft All-Purpose, a 7'8 Flippin' All Day and (2) 7' Composite Crankbait rods, as well as 10 other Kistler's---so I am no new customer. I was wondering if you were now putting the same guide that was on the Graphite Plus (Black ones) on the Mag Series and was putting a different reel seat unlike the takified ones on my other Mag series rods (which I love). Just doesn't seem to have the same quality as the others. Haven't used them extensively yet, but I will let you know then.

The Mg Chatterbait rod I just got after Christmas has the sage green graphite blank, the new black Fuji concept guides, Fuji ACS reel seat, and no blank through grip (the blank isn't exposed to your fingers in any way on the trigger), but I'm hoping the lack of a front cork grip will allow for the feel of bites.
A few changes from what I have seen, but maybe for the better, since they now have Fuji guides and reel seat. Maybe this will solve some reel slippage issues for '08.
