5/19/08 9:27am Great Day of Fishing!! |
|
|
Just got back from a great day of fishing. My friend and I caught around 30 bass, our best five would have gone around 23lbs. My big fish on the day was 7+lbs, (23 1/4") and I had another fish that was 20 1/2" and both were blown up like they ate a football. Just a great day on the water.
I was using a Medium/Heavy Helium II LTX for my jig fish, and a Medium Heavy Senko Special Mg series for my worm fish. The extra sensitivity of these rods allowed me to feel the fish better on a day where the bite was soft!
Thanks Kistler Rods!!

The bigger fish were still in around 4' of water. All 3 stages of the spawn were going so it kinda changed depending where you were on the lake. Heck I even caught some out in mainlake brushpiles in 10' of water!!
