Distinguishing between year models of Helium rods

Is there a way to tell what year model a Kistler Helium LTA is? Reason is becasue I have a chance to buy another one (own 6 already ), and I want to make sure it is not a year 2005 model. I did not like the action/power of that year in the Helium LTA lineup. Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

There is no exact method to recognize one year from another. Just the original LTA looked different on the wraps with no blue trim color on the guides.
