"Baby Bubba"??? In southern California we have a set-up in my tournament circle we call the "Baby Bubba". It's basically a light Carolina / mojo rig with a long leader, used on spinning tackle. Main line is 8lb test and the leader is 5 or 6lb flourocarbon. This is a well known go-to set up when the bite is tough out west. Me and a lot of other anglers have cashed some checks from tournaments with this set-up. The Kistler He76MHS is the perfect rod for this technique, I call it the "Baby Bubba" special. Anybody else use this rod?
