Just wondering if anyone out here can tell me the difference between these two models - aside from the length. Is the 6'3 the same blank as the 6'9 but shortened?
It's gonna be used for 1/2-3/4oz spinnerbaits (mostyl 1/2oz). People seem to rave about the 6'9 and its sensitivity, but I haven't heard much about the 6'3...
I'm kinda leaning towards the shorter one...
Cheers

I use both rods. I do not know the answer to your question as to whether it is the same blank but shorter. I suggest you call Clifford at Kistler and ask him.
I use the 6'3" for throwing spinnerbaits in the size of 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 oz sizes.
I also use it for casting jerkbaits i.e. Lucky Craft pointers. The soft tip works well for this application.
The 6'9" APC I use for pitching light weight soft plastics , finesse jigs, and topwater lures.
