Anyone have the 7'6 Telescopic? I want it because I can put it in my rod locker (Thats the only reason why). I know everyone loves the regular one (not telescopic) but I really dont care about weight, I will pair it up with a tdz. Anyone have a ny real world experience with this rod?
Thanks

Hello Jim,
I have the 7'11" HeLTA (telescopic) and the 7'6" HeLTA ( one piece). They are both excellent rods. The 7'11" rod is a little heavier and has less give at the tip. Both have great sensitivity and a strong backbone. I use the 7'6" rod for smaller baits like 1/4 oz jigs and the 7'11" rod for heavier duty like 3/8 and 1/2 oz jigs. Both also are great carolina rig rods.
The 7'11" rod is unlike any other telescopic rod that I have fished...It is light weight and sensitive. I think that it would be comparable to the 7'6" telescopic rod. I hope this helps.
Good fishing,
Demetrius

My favorite is the Mg ADFPS78T. We might be sold out for the second time again, but if you can get your hands on one of these feather light big sticks, you won't notice your fishing with a 7' 8" rod.
