I seen Scott martin talking about the new Kistler rods. And there guide setup. I was wondering how close the First guide closest to the reel was? It looked to be no more then 7inchs? does any one no?

rod i am talking about is

All Day Flippin' Pitchn' Stick 7' 8" Heavy Telescopic Fishing Rod

any idea how close the 1st guide is closest to the the reel seat?

I believe that guide is about 8 inches away from the reel. We can do this on any rod you ask us to for a small customization fee.
