Argon or Mg. spinning?

I need a good spinning rod for around 8-12 lb test, need enough back bone to catch 5-7 lb fish, can't decide on the Argon 6'9" topwater special or the MG, would like something in Med power.

Yes, the ASWTW69S is the one to get, period. It will do exactly what you want to do and then some. The Mg ML will be too light and the MH will be too strong.
