I'm confident he has a deal with Fenwick but he did use my Heliums for his seminars and told me he thought they were really sweet rods. And yes, a true gentleman!

I carry 8 rigs with me; 6(soon to be 7!) of which are Heliums and two are Fenwick's Techna AV rods. I rarely pick up one of the AVs but I did the other day and it felt like cue stick(sorry EZcue) after casting a couple of hours with my Heliums. It was an incredible difference in 'feel' and in casting distance and accuracy.

Dan,
I see two rods for sale in your near future...I am surprised you have not already sold those AV's and replaced them with Heliums...

I've got you beat Dan.....7 Helium Casting rods, 7 Helium Spinning rods, 2 California series spinning rods. I do still own 2 non Kistler rods....a 5ft and 6ft BPS Bionic Blade L. I also have a Loomis/Yamamoto grub rod that I'm trying to sell right now. Out with the old, in with the new.

earthworm77,
And here I thought all along that Lightning Rod was the largest collector of Helium LTA's!??Dan, you better put in another order at Tacklewarehouse.com before earthworm77 takes an unsurmountable lead!

I've read about a few other guys with as many or more than ew and I'm way down the list. One more HE70MC will fill out the 8 rigs I fish with .

I just added a He66MHS that has a custom split Tenn Handle, darn, I think my purchases alone should bump me up to the National Pro Staff. So now the sickness continues at 15.

Oh let's see... over this past year I've purchased:
4 - He69APC's
3 - He76HC's
1 - He76MC
1 - He76MHC
1 - He70MHC
1 - He70MC
1 - He70MLC
1 - He711HC
and one Helium spinning rod but I can't remember which model it is!
That makes 14 all Helium sticks?
But only 9 are still in my possession. The other five were "loaned" to ( - - blocked - - ) and family and never made it back into my garage lol
But I also have quite an array of rods from other manufacturers in my garage - what can I say? I love to collect
