So I order the 6'9" Top Water Special Spinning rod from Cabelas. It arrives and I open it up and it says "Saltwater" on it. The Cabelas website never said anything about saltwater, it was in the freshwater section. It's a supernice rod, I want to use it for Pop Rs, spooks, puppies, etc. I see no reason why it won't still be great for those... any thoughts? What is the difference between the saltwater and freshwater models?

Trey would have to confirm this for sure, but I believe the ASWTW69S is the only top water rod in the Argon series. It should work great for fresh water as well as salt water.

I think it should... I prefer a spinning rod for certain types of topwater fishing.

The only difference is the label wording. This rod will perform great for all fresh water applications. Enjoy it!
