2010 LTX pricing questions

Hello,

I am just curious what is going on with the pricing on these rods. They used to be over $350 and now I see them on your site for $289.99 (LTX 7' MH). I also know that you changed out the components and blank.

Is it to be assumed that the older style LTX rods are better?

There are a few reasons why the 2010 models are less expensive.
1. To compete with other brands on the market.
2. Guides are less expensive and more preferred by anglers.
3. Now with the Z bone rods, all made in Texas, you can get what you want for under $400.
Side note: The 2010 Helium LTX rods are actually more sensitive and lighter weight than the 2009 becuase we have used a new material.
