Fluorocarbon Spinning Reels

Looking for some suggestions on a good spinning reel for 6-10 Lb fluorocarbon. Any price.
Is it the reels or the line, that cause frustration. I've had my share of them.

IMO, it is the line, but sometimes when you own a better reel such as a Shimano, you experience better luck with the line. Also, try and use a swivel always to reduce line twist. Also, the Kevin Van Dam line conditioner works well.

I experienced same issues with flouro and a spinning reel. Last year I decided to try something different.

I drop shot on Lake Erie.....alot........and goby style baits are horrible for spinning when being reeled in and really, really, causing line twist.

I spooled up with 8 lb Power Pro braid. At the business end I attach a 6-10 foot leader of 6-8 lb flouro. This is being fished on a 6'9" Kistler Graphite Series DS Special.
What a difference. No twist, unbelievable feel, you name it. I could feel goby bites in 30 feet of water.

I then switched my shakey head rod to the same set up. Happy with the results there also.
