11/11/07 10:00pm what rod would you recommend for senkos
I am wondering what type of rod would be best for strictly fishing senkos. I am going to be fishing the 5 ichers and going to be wacky rigging them . I am also looking for a spinning rod. I also cant afford the helium rods so what would you say is the best rod for that!

What size senkos are you planning on throwing? How are you going to rig them? Wacky, exposed, texposed, etc?

Bassinator,
If your budget only will allow a graphite plus, the KFWTS69 (6'9" Finesse worm-Tube Special) especially if you throw the 4" senko at all, but if you can I would suggest the Magnesium Tube bait-Weightless worm(MgTBWWMH610S). This rod works great for the 5" senkos no matter how you rig 'em!!
good fishing,

forskipping ido recommend strongly the graphite plus 6'3" since it is a mh and if you rig yor senko with 10 pound only you need proper stiff action.
if you like a longer and more regular action i do recommend the same the other guys suggested you but i'd use fluorocarbon to improve hookset
