I have been having trouble getting on "good" fish this fall...lots of 1-2lb. stuff but not any larger. All that changed this afternoon, while fishing at a local golf course I hooked this one off of a small foot bridge in about 5' of water. Man what a hoot, drag screamin and she made 2 hard runs before I got her under control. The Rapala Digital said 6lbs. 7oz. and if my little borther hadn't been there to help me land her, I don't know what I would have done...man did she PULL...Whoooo Whoooo!!! She was caught on a Zoom 4" Watermelon/Red lizard on a "bubba" rig. Tackle, Kistler Helium 69APC and Shimano Scorpion with Seagaur Carbon Pro 12#...hook 2/0 Sugio. Gotta love the Heliums, just a light "tick" I set the hook and she darn near pulled the rod out of my hands. I don't think I would have ever felt the strike without my Helium. Thanks for looking. What a Honey-Hawg EZ! What a way to use great tackle and you made great choices in the line and hooks too

Excue,
Nice fish! I love fishing those golf course ponds. In fact, I grew up pond hopping around golf courses while learning to fish.
Thanks for sharing your fish image. Good luck this fall with the bigger bass.
