I'm thinking about a new Helium for light worming. Any thoughts on a 7'0" or 7'6" med BC?

Vinny... depending on your definition of "light worming" I'd definitely say Lightninrod Dan's favorite stick, the He70MC... however, the He76MC is also a very very nice rod, just as versatile as the 70MC, but maybe with a tad more parabolic action due to the added length.

Again, depends on your definition of light worming, but the He70MC is what I use for weightless Senkos and wacky rig weightless trick or finesse worms and cut tail worms. I also use that rod for grubs either weightless or split shot. Any lighter and I move to spinning tackle.

Either length Vinny but surely the MC.
SD: The reason I rave about the 7 footers is I didn't think the 7', 6"er's(one piece) would fit in my truck so I bought just 7 footers until later when I tested the cab-length with a 2-piece, custom, 7', 6" rod I had. Up until then, I had always collapsed the 2-piecer before putting in the cab. Also, I already had 7' Fenwicks so I knew I liked that length but I think the longer rods are better for pitchin'/flippin' and C-riggin'.

Hey Dan,
No worries my friend ... afterall, the He70MC and He76MC do behave slightly differently too... Plus, casting accuracy is more difficult with the 7'6" rods while one can still pitch pretty effectively with a 7'0" rod, so the He70MC is more versatile and a justifiable "favorite"
I have the He76MC and am still trying to find a niche for that rod in my lineup. I think I've figured it out though, with my new dedication to cranks

Hmmmmmmm...... I'm no expert at walking the dog... BUT, I'll throw out a suggestion for the He69APC!!!!! ... nice soft MC style tip for casting accuracy, distance, and working the bait, yet, really good MHC quality backbone for a solid hookset and working the fish to the boat... just a tad shorter than the 7' rods to make working the bait easier.
Besides, I haven't recommended that rod in a while... LOL

I tend to use a composite crankbait special for walk the dog lures, but must confess I more often use smaller topwater. The 6'9" APC would be good for the bigger topwater. Zara Puppy and torpedo I use a ML popping rod...or spinning rod

vinnybass, although I am new to the kistler family here.. but I have used 6'6" rods for my general all around use rods, especially topwater lures, spooks although are quite heavy I tend to throw sammy's or something right in that family of "walkers", I throw alot of poppers(pop'r) as well, I would first start off with a rod length that you are comfortable with, and go from there.
