Does anyone that uses this forum use a kistler rod to trout fish? I live on the coast of North Carolina and fish 9 months out of the year for speckle trout... I currently use a Shimano Crucial 6'3" (medium with an extra fast tip) with a Daiwa Fuego 2000 (small reel) spinning reel with 8lb test line. I use this one rod (currently own 4 so I don't have to change baits) for mirro lures, jigs and various other top water or suspending stick baits.
I just bought the 7' rod below on E-Bay it has had a new tip put on it and shortened to 6'5"... I'm not sure if I will get the real feel with a cut down rod...any and all help will be appreciated.

Todd,
If you are looking for the finest spinning rod we make in the He2 series for speckled trout, then go with a He2M69S. This model has a sweet feel that can be used with all the lures you mentioned and more. You might be about to find one on Ebay, or just order one off of our site or Cabelas site.
