He gave a nice mention of Kistler while on stage. I am sure that may have had more people visiting Clifford at the show.

Interesting. I didn't think he used Kistler Rods. Went to his website and sure enough, there's a Kistler Logo. Awesome addition to the team. One of the nicest guys on the tours and a great angler.

Guys,
We have not really made a formal announcement about our deal. I have been trying to put together a newsletter with all the news but can't seem to stop long enough to finish it. This was one of the items to announce. Alton has been buying rods for 9 months and lately decided to join our team. We are very proud to have him represent our company.
Thanks,

I had the pleasure of meeting Alton at the Jr World Championship, we talked for a while and on Wednesday practice I got to ride as his observer, it was a great experience and I learned a lot from him about the techniques' he uses and the different conditions he encounters. I think I talked way too much and asked way too many questions than he would have liked but he was super nice and answered them all. I thought he was really onto something at the end of the day and had a good shot at winning but he said he couldn't get the big bite. Alton is a great person and really left an impression on me that I will never forget and every one else I talked too that knows him said the same thing. I drove the boat Sat, Sun at the JWC for Ken Duke the senior editor of B.A.S.S to take photos and do on the water interviews, after we talked to Alton and his two Jr. anglers Ken shared a little with me about Alton and said there is not a better person in the classic field and no one that deserves to win it more than him, that says a lot about a mans character. I wish Alton and his family all the best and Kistler Rods could not have found a better person to represent the Kistler family.
