I am ready to convert to Kistler. I want to start with the Graphite plus. I am looking for a good worm rod. Not a bat and not a twig. I was looking at the senko rod with shorter handle and 7' carolina rod. Don't want a flimsy tip but don't want super stiff. I fish both smallmouth and largemouth. I'm 6'3 so I need one that fits.

Bassmaster39,
If you have to stick with the graphite series, the Senko special would be my choice for a good all around rod. If you can step up to the Helium series get the HE69APC - you wont regret it!

I have the texas rig worm rod and love it, it's not too stiff but still has enough backbone to get the job done. You could still cast a bait like a senko with ease and accuracy. I think that it is a good all around worm rod.

You can't go wrong with the Senko Special for all around versatility. The length, tip action and power available makes this rod the perfect do all rod.
Have fun,

Thanks Trey. I will be looking into the Senko and the Carolina rig rod. I fish 6in worms, some 10 and bitsy jigs. I also fish tubes and craw worms. It sounds like the Senko rod could handle them all.
