Guys,
Sorry we have not had time to add them to the web site or really announce their availability until now. So take this as your early bird informal announcement.
The NEW He2 7'6" and 7'11" telescopic rods are here and ready to ship!!!
Have Fun and Merry Christmas!!!

Brad,
It is a SWEEEEEET rod. Get one and you won't be disappointed. The feel is awesome!!! I think Kistler outdid themselves on this one. Worked real well on small swimbaits. But rumor has it a swimbait rod is on the way!!!!!!
God Bless

Mike,
My boat storage unit was broke in to the last week of Nov. Of course they took all my flippin' rods and 'high end' rods and left my cheaper rods behind. Fortunately, I had my Kistler LTA (7'0 MH) at home. By far my favorite all around rod.
To make a long story short, I was waiting for Kistler to come out with a 7'11 rod in the LTX Series, since the bums stole my 8 footer. I got impatient and bought a competitor's rod instead. I wanted the split handle grip and this company had it in a 7'9 model.
I am going to purchase another 7'0 medium heavy LTA, though and try to convince the other half that it would be prudent to have another flippin' rod!
Best of luck and Happy Holidays!
Brad
P.S. Trey, you're killin' me!

Brad,
Sell the competitor's rod on eBay!!! Then you will have to get the LTX cuz you won't have a flippin stick , plus you could use the $$$ from the sale for the LTX. Where there is a will there is a way!!!
Merry CHRISTmas

Wellllll, fellow pursuers of the fish know as the black bass, I stopped by the Kistler Shop in Magnolia today and walked away with the 7'11 LTX rod. I can not tell you how excited I am to get out there and try it on the water.
I have bought a ton of rods over the years, from Loomis to Setyr to Castaway etc., but this might be the nicest looking and feeling rod I've put my hands on. The craftsmanship is awesome. Ryan, a Kistler employee, took me back to show me it and I knew I had to have it. My biggest concern before I got to the shop, was the handle material. No longer is it a concern. I love the tackiness to it. It's hard to describe, but I've always been an advocate of cork. This handle has a great feel to it along with a little weight in the cap.
I walked in the door and the first person to greet me was Trey. He was busy with another client, but went out of his way to say hi. It was funny because the person talking to Trey didn't even realize who he was until I pointed it out. He was like 'Wow you're too young to be running a company like this.' Ryan was real cool too. Trey, he's a keeper!
I also purchased another LTA 7'0 MH because I think its the best multi-purpose rod on the market. Probably going to put a Abu Revo on it. A great reel, if y'all haven't tried one.
Anyway, when I get out on the water, I'll give some updates on the performance of the LTX.

Mike,
I told her that its all I wanted for CHRISTmas.! She was cool with that, but I think she's a little worried about me, since I slept with it last night too. I paired it up with a Daiwa TD-X left handed reel and have been flippin' and pitching to all kinds of targets in the living room. I really like the balance and the tip on the rod. Feel like I'm even getting a little more distance on the pitches without extra effort due to the tip. Now, I know why you were so excited. This rod just looks awesome.
