I received my new (used, actually) HE69APC and was amazed at the light weight. I was really amazed when I put it down on the deck of my boat WITHOUT a reel being attached. Well...imagine my surprise when the darned thing just floated right off the deck and up to the ceiling. Wow! Talk about lightweight! It kind of irritated me though, because I had to go get the ladder and climb up there to retrieve it.
At least now I know that I gotta keep a reel on this fantastic rod to hold it down. You guys shoulda told me about that.
Man! What a sweet rod! Thanks to all for the advice in another thread.

I've knocked my 7' Medium LTA overboard twice with a Daiwa TD-Z on it, filled with fluro and the entire rig floated !
