I started a similar discussion on another forum and had a lot of fun with it.
Just tell us what your favorite attractant is and then (here is the fun part) prove it with an honest fish story. Laughing

Edge hot sauce is my choice. Out last weekend with a buddy both of us fishing worms. We were both using Black Berkly 7" powerworms. I switch to a Black Culprit put a drop of hot sauce on and first cast, right next to his almost and BAM! of course he jumps on the band wagon and on his first cast BAM! Two nice hawgs. For about two hours I was convinced that I didn't need any attractant, especially if I'm using an impregnated worm. Like I said that lasted about two hours. Gotta use it.

I have a terrible addiction using BANG Pure Craw combined with Chomper Garlic Salt into my soft plastics. Man, do them hawgs slam those baits down HARD! From that moment on I found my combination of making those hawgs bite every outing, while all the other rest of the scents failed me miserably. I even use those scents in tournaments, I love it. Caution: it STINKS a mile away! Surprised Thought I would share that secret with y'all.

Where can I find some of that edge hot sauce, I been looking for that stuff for about 8 years. There use to be a tackle shop around here that carried it in the late 90's. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have used and been sponsored by HOT SAUCE for over twelve years. It has more fish documented over fifteen pounds caught with it. Most from Southern Calif. Wink Hook, here is there website. Ron is the man to E-mail. [-- login to view link --] The lizard they make is awesome too Very Happy

I got my Hot Sauce from tacklewarehouse.com for $10. Let me know how you like it. As for the Chomper stuff, I have used finess worms loaded with the stuff and it does stink! But it works also. The only draw back I've found is that my wife won't let me near her after fishing with those worms Wink

Admittedly, I do not fish a lot of attractants. I can't stand the mess. But I have tried this stuff and found it effective:

chompers work great, they keep theyre smell forever. caught alotta fish on them. i also use BANG shad scent on flukes, sometimes senkos and spinnerbaits. if you get the Bang on your hand, it actually smells like youve been handling minnows, pretty smelly. no stories, just FYI
