How soft is the action on the 7' Mg crankbait rod? And also, how heavy is this rod?

Hello,
The 7' Mg Crankbait rod is a gem. I just used it this past weekend to take 5th place at a 175 boat charity tournament. I used a lipless crankbait over flooded flats in 48 degree muddy water. I only caught 8 total bass but, I did not lose a single one. The rod feels and reacts like fiberglass but, it has much better sensitivity. It is a little heavier than most Kistler Mg's but, I believe that it balanced very well with my Shimano Curado. I would highly recommend this rod.
Good fishing,

pool4pro,
Hey the Mg 7' composite is the lightest glass rod available on the market today weighing in at only 5.4 ounces. That is as light as most graphite rods made by other manufacturers!
The action is basically fast and soft. The glass upper 1/2 of the rod gives it a soft feel but the tip is fast when compared to the rest of the rods bend. It does not have your typical David Fritts special big bend with no guts in the middle type of feel.
I hope this helps a bit,
Trey

Sounds like the right rod for me then.
I actually ordered it about from you about 2 months ago and I just got to thinking about it and I never really asked anyone about the rod. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a "noodle" type crankbait rod as so many are. I actually prefer a little stiffer rod for crankbaits.
I also ordered a custom split grip 7'6"H LTA, I cant wait for delivery!!!
Any idea when shipment might be?
