Well boys, thanks for all of the kind words. Here is a list of the rod models that I picked up.
KTRWM66 Texas Rig Worm Rod
KCRMH7 Carolina Rig Rod
KCKCM7 Composite Crank Bait Rod (Awesome)
KDSS69 Drop Shot California Series

I have multiples of these rods. First, let me say that we do not have an abundance of big fish here in Indiana......not like Texas anyway. Therefore, I have chosen the rods that best suit my needs for the fishing that I like to do, and the fish that I am fishing for. I love to flip and pitch a jig. I rarely throw a big jig..mostly 1/4 or 3/8 oz. We do not have hydrilla or major vegitation that would require me to have an extremely long heavy rod needed to fish a big jig for say penetrating matted hydrilla where you need alot of leverage to get fish out. I am 5'8" and 7' works well for me as does the action of the KCRMH7 rod that I will use for my jig fishing. It suits me just fine.

The KTRWM66 I will use for small tubes and small worm fishing, flukes, etc. Again, we have alot of pressure here and not alot of big fish. This is a killer all around rod that you could use for anything in my opinion.

The composite cranking rod is pretty awesome. It's really hard to appreciate until you get a fish on the end of it. What can I say, if there is a better rod for this application on the market for this kind of money, I would like to see it.

The KDSS69 is another rod that is hard to appreciate until you catch a fish on it. It has a killer tip and is really perfect for....yes drop shotting (we do that here too)....but also for throwing small finesse worms and those little senkos and yum dingers. Very deadly here as they are everywhere. So again, kind of a multi-task rod for me. The reel seat is awesome too !!

By the way, the hook hanger is like smacking yourself on the forehead and saying DUH!! why didn't I think of that.

All in all, for the money, how can you possibly beat these rods ??? You can't.......it's that simple. And to top it all off, you have the greatest bunch of people to deal with at Kistler.

Most of all, I really appreciate the testimony of Trey.....that's what it's all about boys. We need to give more praise to the One who created us and this place we live in andenjoy so much......and take for granted all to often. On top of all of that, He gave us His Son so we can go be with Him someday.

God Bless and good fishing all,

Rich

Rich,
My arsenal of Kistler Rods includes the ktrwm66, I use it to skip under docks, this is a sensative and powerful rod that can pull a big fish out of cover, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Did you order any Heliums?
