Which I can say is just utterly amazing! The color vs the LTA rods differs - the guides and rod itself are a dark copper (classy) vs. the carbon color of the LTAs.
The rod handle being the new material - is just simply revolutionary. It feels lighter than cork but doesn't seem to get dirty as quick or chip like cork does. The handles alone set this rod apart from others.
Unfortunately I didn't think it would come this fast (Cabela's says they have em in stock) and it's a whopping 40 degrees and snowing today here in the Chicagoland area.
I have a postal scale at work to give this thing a whirl - weight without reel comes in at a minimal 3.45 ounces.
Can't wait to try out this rod!

When it rains (as per the photo, light drizzle) it pours!
5 minutes after losing my only chatterbait on a line shear against a concrete culvert this happened on the next cast...
Oddly after releasing the fish, I found the tip was broken also about 2 inches down.
What angered me the most was I had to walk a block to get my other kistler so I could continue fishing!
I will miss my HE2 it was a great 5 months I knew her until she is replaced.

6/10/06 11:43pm Sorry
Sorry to hear that, I know how it feels. I broke one of mine during a tournament doing something stupid. Got hung on a stump and trying to hurry, reeled down to it as the boat was drifting over. Snapped the end off and felt like I couldn't finish without it. Hope the replacement gets to you soon!!!
