I want a rod for throwing 1/2-3/4 oz spinner baits. Which rod would be best suited for that, either the grahpite plus or the LTA., or the new Magnesium series.
I was thinking that the KSBS69 would be a good choice.

I would go with the KSBS69 for those average size spinner baits. You will be very happy with the performance.
If you wait on the Magnesium, go with the MgAPSMH69. It is a fine rod for spinner baits and many other things as well.

I throw a blade about 80 % of the time where I fish in Louisiana and have consistently won more tournaments with a blade than any other bait. There are a lot of good choices with either the Graphite Plus or the LTA med hvy to hvy. When the time is right the new Mag. Series has an awesome stick that I have been using 6'3 Med Hvy that has a great tip for superb accuracy and works really well with long casts or even tight spots for actually pitching a spinnerbait. No matter which you chose they are all great.

Do you like the 6"3' length the best. Do you like it better than the 6'9" length? Regional Pro Staffer

I fish 1/2oz spinnerbaits on the delta about 50% of the time and almost always use the KSBS69 rod, I actually have three of them. When not using that rod I use a 7' med/hvy, I never go smaller. Years back I used a 6'6" rod and over time felt it didn't have the backbone to get the larger fish (5-7 pounds) out of the cover.
In the last WON Bass pro-am on the delta I caught 5 bass between 5-7 pounds on day one all on spinnerbaits witht he 6'9" rod and had no trouble getting them out of the weeds, never lost a fish the entire tournament.

I have the 69APC and a 7ft helium M/H rod. I will try them out for spinner baits. I have been using the 69 for Tx. rigged worms and the 7ft M/H for swimming jigs..
