Micro guide upgrade

If I send my rods in for the micro guide upgrade, if you just switch the old guides out for micros there would not be enough guides to keep the line off the blanks, I am assuming that you will put more guides on the blank of the rod, am I correct in this assumption?

There is a myth that the line should never touch the blank.We will put 9 guides on your rod and it will fish better than 10 conventional guides. Forget what you've heard about that myth.
