Welcome to the forum and the Kistler 'family' young man.

I don't use a Graphite Series Kistler but I know they are just as good as my beloved Heliums for their specific uses. Now what did you expect to 'hear' on the "Kistler" forum Laughing ?

Kistler makes great spinning rods in both graphite and helium. The dropshot special is an awesome rod for finesse fishing, dropshot, or splitshot. if your looking for something a little heavier the 6'6" Medium graphite or helium are unmatched. im sure there are even new and better things around the corner. Very Happy

Basser, good question, for about 20 years I relied on Bionic Blades, then Extremes and ultimately the Johhny Morris rods. I did really well with them and when I was using them I couldn't imagine anything better or better on my wallet. Well, I've used Heliums and California Series Graphite rods for almost 3 years and I can honestly say there is a world of difference. It is like night and day. Enjoy your Kistler rods, they are the best out there bar none.

I have to agree with all the guys and anyone who has ever picked up a Kistler Stick no matter if it is Spinning or Casting. There is by far no comparision, I have probably used almost every major rod there is and I promise you'll find none that are lighter, more comfortable, and more sensitive than the Kistler Graphite Plus that you bought! Good fishing and enjoy your new experience.
