I'll tell you what...this rod is such an all purpose stick! Anything and everything! Simple as that really. Go try it and let me know if you agree. Enjoy!

Saw this post and had to chime in. I use this rod for tossing one ounce spinner baits and big one ounce top water walking baits. In fact if you did not see my other post, just caught a twenty-five pounder Striper with this rod last Sunday, and it handled that big beast with one problems. One of the best Mag TS rods in that series. TL

wow. i cant imagine fightin that. i 've caught a 13 pound striper and that one almost spooled me twice. didnt catch it on topwater though, that must have been quite an explosion on the surface! good to know. i'll give that a shot

ok guys. i went out on beaver lake yesterday with my buddy and we caught 4 strippers. 3 of which were about 12 or 13 and one that was 8 or 9. all of them were on the small swimbait rod. WOW is all i can say. i didn't believe it could be done but WOW (once again) no problems with the rod at all. GREAT ROD. i caught three on 14lbs xps floro with a curado 200e7. great setup. THANKS Trey for some great products.

I need to get a couple of new rods. I am needing a rod for pitching light creature baits and a rod for my football jigs. I fish mostly for smallmouth with 1/2 to 3/4 football heads with a hula grub and have been using a 7' MH rod. This has been great, but I ended up getting rid of both those rods to complete my Kistler line up. Do you guys think this small swimbait rod would fit in this situation? I like the length of this rod. I am going to stick with the Magnesium line up for these two rods because I need to save my money for a new Z-Bone for the future. Thanks.

I would suggest the MGSWSB70. We do not make the 7'3" model any longer.
