Rod for wacky senkos

Hello all,
I love wacky senkos, I use them a lot during this particular time on year in my favorite lake. I have tried several rods and no one seems to be the "ideal rod". A while ago I was given a Berkley tactix which was actually very close to the ideal action for this type of fishing (6'6'' M-F, 1/4-3/4)... obviously the quality and sensitivity was far from any kistler. That rod was actually stiffer than expected for a M rod.
I have tried the Mg senko special (too stiff), the Graphite plus crankbait (toooo soft) and actually have a 2008 6'6'' M-F Helium LTA (also a bit too soft).
I am looking for a rod solely for this technique so I don't really care about versatility. For wacky fishing I use 10-lb mono line and unweighted 5-in senkos (I also use 6 & 7-inch but for that I use a 2009 LTX 6'6'' MH-excellent!). The reel is a curado 200e5.
Does anyone know what would be the appropiate rod in 6'9'' or shorther length? I was looking around and perhaps the Mg All Purpose Special would fill the bill... not too stiff but not too soft (action-wise, something in between the Helium 6'6''M and the LTX 6'6''MH)...
Thanks,

kistlero

curve ball...go with the Argon AFW69C which is like the MgAPSMH69 but much lighter. Or the AFC69C which is a little softer but not as soft as the other Medium rods you listed. Both of these are great!

Thanks Trey,
Is the second rod you mention the crankbait rod?
Thanks,

trey,
A similar model, the Argon AFCB72C is on sale in a particular store here in Mexico. Do you think that it will also have a similar action to the AFCB69C you recommended, suitable for wacky senkos? I see benefit in the longer rod for longer casts but don't know if it will be "softer" than the 6'9''... the site also lists the 7'2 as fast-action, while the 6'9 is a mod-fast...
Thanks,

kistlero

Yes, this models is very versatile as well and it will work well with many baits. I say go for it you can't go wrong with that AFCB72

OK Trey,
Thanks a lot for the advice. I am placing an order today for the AFCB72C!
