Trey,

Unfortunatley at the moment I do not own either a Helium or LTX rod. I do however have several Graphites and Magnesium's and have had one tip insert fall out on a Magmesium.

I own 2 mags, 3 helium and 1 helium 2. Never had a problem with any of my rods. Just keep up the great advanced techniques that year after year other rod builders use on there rods . Thank you for making fishing exciting and fun.

Trey,
I have been very impressed with the durability of Kistler rods.
Have not experienced this problem. Great combination of being light, sensitive, and strong. Thanks for caring about what your customers think or have experienced. This is why all I fish with are Kistler. Keep doing what you think is right.

Of all the Kistler rods I have owned or sold, I only know of one rod that had a problem with an eye popping out... I believe it was an '05 LTX. Absolutely love my new magnesiums and look forward to what's coming next ...

Over time, I have had inserts fall out on 8 out of the 12 Helium and Helium II (2006-2007 models) rods I have. Most of the time it is the 3-5th guide down. Love the rods, dont love the older guides. Glad they have been replaced. Just about time to buy some new rods, and they will be the new KISTLERS.

The eye ( - - blocked - - ) out of my Magnesium. I'm not sure if this happened, but it could have been caused by reeling the carolina rigged weight too far into the eye. No problem with the Heluim.

personally have not had a problem with any of the 2006 rods. I do know a couple guys that have had the eyes pop out on 2006 magnesium rods . but do know that some of the the guys that have heliums did have some problem with keeping them eyes in but just take a little dab of super glue and never have that problem again still great rods even if the tips do fall out anything man makes does not last forever.
