5/28/09 9:18pm BROKE MY 7' MH LTX II, what can be done? |
I was fishing with a local guide who had put my LTX behind the seat of his center console boat, and when we cruised under a bridge at 5-10mph it snapped 6 and a half inches off the tip of my 7' Medium Heavy LTX II. This isn't covered by the warranty, and when the guide found out the rod was a Kistler, he felt so bad, because he couldn't repay me the money, he was almost in tears realizing that he would never get repeat business from me,...I hadn't even use the rod yet. Needless to say, I know this isn't covered under the warranty and I didn't make the guide pay me back (he couldn't). What can I do,...is there anyway to salvage the rod, maybe make it smaller, who can do this? Thanks guys

Man, I am hurting after hearing that story. We can try to ease the pain by offering you a hardship warranty replacement of 50% off retail if you want to take advantage of it. Or we will be happy to send you a bigger sized tip top to put on your new custom 6'6" heavy He2.
Let us know either way so we can get you back on the water with your new rod.
