I am wanting to get a second rod for flipping and pitching and am considering getting my first Kistler. I don't want to take the plunge on a Helium just yet, so I might get a Graphite Plus. My question is: What are the differences (action, power, weight, etc.) between the Slop and Frog rod and the 7'6" H one piece flipping stick?

Thanks!

Hoss05,

The two rods you refer to are going to be very similar, they both are heavy power with fast action and are rated for 1/4oz to 1oz. I have the 7'6" one piece flippin rod and it is very light and sensitive. Go with the KFS76, the extra 3 inches will not make much of a weight difference and will give you extra leverage for pulling fish from heavy cover.
