Team Kistler-Redfish Tour

Hey Everyone, Just a quick note to all you Kistler users.

My name is George Johnson and my partner is Chad Skeeles. We have been fishing the Redfish tours for the past 4yrs representing Kistler rods when we can. We made the 2007 FLW Champions and had several other great tournys.

2009 has been something else...first tourny we finished 3rd in the GrassFlats Classic in Destin, Fl and 2 weeks later we won our first Tournament in our home waters of Pensacola Florida.

It was truley an awesome feeling!!

Welcome to the forum George, glad to have you on board. Sounds like you and your partner are good redfishemen. Do you ever get the chance to fish South Louisiana? The redfishing is great down here. I grew up close to Corpus Christi, and have had some great days down there over the years, but the saltwater fishing over here in South Louisiana is just amazing.

LA is an AWESOME fishery!! I think it got better after Katrina!! WE are going over a month from today for a week,I can't wait!!! It is a totaly different kind of fishing!
We fish Gin clear water, and the fish are VERY Spooky. In LA your fishing in mud, and they hit everything!!!

We have been using Helium 7' spinning and bait casting rods, but we are waiting on our new Argon' 7'6" to get here!!

We have another tourny this Saturday in Destin,FL...not sure if we are coming home to P'cola or going thru the ditch to Panama City...more pre-fishing is in the works!!!
