I'm in search of a rod to use throwing mirrolures (52M series) and have found my way to Kistler. I'll be mounting a Curado E on it. I actually have three questions:
1) Which rod from the magnesium line would have the best action for this application? and
2) Would the Argon be a little better fit for saltwater and which model?
3) Is the Argon lighter?
Thx,
Ross

We do not make a saltwater trout rod in the Mg line, BUT, the Argon line has plenty to choose from. Here are my favorite bait casters

YES, THE ARGONS ARE SUPER LIGHT! MUCH LIGHTER THAN THE MG RODS.

Kistlero - thanks for the help, that's just the info I was looking for.

I would agree with you Muskratnymph, but if you are looking for a rod that will work for both like he is looking for an 8 weight is way to much for trout. I guess that is why I suggested a 6 weight, which is not ideal for either one, but can work for both. JMO
