I recently purchased an ltx flipping stick and was blown away by this rod. I pro staffed for another rod manufacturer for several years and had always heard of Kistler quality, but really had no reason to pay full price for a rod. Wow was I missing the boat, what an incredible rod. I have literally shown anyone that has had the misfortune to visit my home the quality of this rod in comparison to others.
After viewing the forum on this site I was even happier in my choice. This may not be the proper place for this post, but just wanted you folks to know you have another convert!

Hey thanks for the post. We are glad to hear you love your rod and are telling all your buddies about it. We really appreciate your excitement and hope you catch more fish once the snow and ice thaws. Until then, have fun practicing flipping in the basement.

Kistler rods are the most sensitive rod on the market, once you hold one in your hand you are hooked.

Before I started using Kistler Rods I thought I was using the best rods on the market. I won't mention the name brand, but they were pretty good rods, with a well respected name. All it took was for me to pick up a Kistler one time, and I started selling all my other brand rods to replace them with Kistlers'. Trey always seems to be ahead of the curve on innovations when it comes to rod designs. In my oppinion they can't be beat.

I appreciate the warm welcome guys. I have already purchased an HE2M70S since my last post and have emailed to be put on the wait list for a carolina rod. About twenty more rods and I'll be on track.
I braved the weather to put the flipping stick to the test and am even more impressed than originally. Luckily no one saw me flipping and pitching at 5 below on the Columbia River or I might be institutionalized.
