Salt Series Rods in Florida
I just got back from Florida last week. I fished down in the Everglades and the Pine Island area. The whole time I was there the wind blew 15+ from the southwest. It made fishing very difficult. Capt. Jim Conley did manage to catch a snook about 14lbs. I lost my big fish and didn’t have a chance to go after tarpon because of the wind. I did manage to catch some snook, speckled trout, redfish, mangrove snapper, ladyfish, hardhead catfish, and little jacks. I used the new Kistler Salt Series rods down there to catch the variety down there. In the Everglades you never know what you are going to catch or see. I would like to thank Mark King and Capt. Jim Conley for taking me fishing.

Nice fish. You need to make a trip to South Louisiana one day. The saltwater fish are going crazy right now.
